Southeast District Water Operators School
Conducted by the:  Minnesota Department of Health, and American Water Works Association - Minnesota Section
March 15-17, 2017 (Wednesday - Friday)
Kahler Apache Hotel, Rochester

Some of the topics will be on Small System Controls; Chemical Properties & Safe Handling; Benefits of Updating Your Meters; Water Conservation & Backflow Prevention; Kellogg Water Tower Project; the Backstory of the Flint Michigan Drinking Water Crisis; Consultant - Operator Interaction; and Lead & Copper Rule-Long Term Revisions, and Corrosion Control Treatment.  There will be a vendor product show on Wednesday afternoon. Late Friday morning the school will continue at Minnesota Pipe with Hands on Sessions and a presentation on Automatic Flushing Systems, and then lunch. 
16 credit hours for attendance
