Minnesota Associates Council

Purpose

The Minnesota Associates Council (MAC) shall be responsible for advising the Executive Board on issues of interest to the section’s associate members, for motivating membership in section activities and governance, and for seeking opportunities to partner with other entitites having related interests.

Action Items/Tasks

• Oversee section’s Strategic Plan Goal and Objective 3: Identify, develop, maintain, and enhance partnerships with others to leverage our resource.
• Meet four times per year, approximately four weeks before the scheduled Executive Board meetings, to review and act on MAC initiatives.
• Continue to encourage associates to attend and exhibit at the Minnesota AWWA Annual Conference.
• Manage the Minnesota AWWA Annual Conference golf tournament.
• Arrange a Minnesota AWWA theme night social.
• Arrange a section social at the AWWA Annual Conference and Exposition.
• Pursue funding for the David B. Morris Scholarship Endowment Fund.
