Small Systems Committee

Purpose

To link small systems with MN AWWA programs by providing assistance and encouraging participation through the use of Section training and networking.

Action Items/Tasks

• Recognize a small system at the Annual Conference Awards Banquet.
• Arrange gathering for small system attendees at the Annual Conference to discuss how MnAwwa can better serve the small system community.
• Provide a $500 scholarship to each of the Section Districts for an individual small system member to attend the Annual Conference.
• Develop requirements of scholarship awardees to provide feedback that will assist in the promotion of scholarship and small systems participation in the Annual Conference, i.e. follow-up letter, meet with committee, give short talk at District school(s) and/or other Section meetings.
• Work with the Programs Committee to offer small systems related programs at the Annual Conference.
