Research Committee
Purpose
To promote water research opportunities within the section, facilitate the sharing of technical information, facilitate enhanced utility/academia/commercial networking, and act as a liaison with the American Water Works Association Research Foundation (AWWARF).
Action Items/Tasks
- Co-sponsor (with the North Dakota and South Dakota sections) a surface water treatment workshop (Spring 2006).
- Sponsor an Upper Midest Membrane Technology Workshop (Summer 2006).
- Meet two times per year, Spring and Fall
- Two “as needed” conference calls, Winter and Summer.
- Continued support for the AWWA Research Foundation.
