- Host 3 facilities tours per year.

We decided it would be a good idea to try and combine the facility
tours with our monthly committee meetings.
- Have a presence at the MN Section Conference
including a booth, posters, etc.
David Brown will lead effort.

We discussed nametag options for Young Professionals at the
MN Section Annual Conference. The
intent is to get people talking to the young professionals and YP’s talking to
each other. Dave will call Jon Eaton,
who is in charge of Annual conference nametags, to discuss.
- Create a YP Committee brochure including purpose
statement, goals, etc. Brian
Zinnel will lead effort.

Brian provided a draft brochure and asked everyone to
review it and provide him with any comments.
- Chose a community service project.

This is tabled until September 2004 meeting.
- Host four social events per year plus the MN
Section Conference meet and greet for young professionals. Meet and greet will be held in the
evening at a small suite at the conference. Jason Janisch will lead effort.

Dave will contact Jason to see what new information he has
regarding the next YP social.
- Draft a YP Committee purpose statement. Completed.

contact Stew Thornley regarding getting YP information on the AWWA MN
Section web site.

Next MeetingYP. The next
meeting is yet to be determined. We will schedule so that Grant Meyer, who
is on the National AWWA YP committee can attend. Location will be in St. Cloud.
