Water for People Committee

Purpose

To support the efforts of Water For People in providing access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation; a world where no child suffers or dies from a water-related disease.

Action Items/Tasks

• Work with MAC on the annual conference golf outing, fishing contest, and sporting clays event. Conduct raffles and other fund raising events throughout the state.
• All people and companies involved in the water industry become a partner with WFP on a regular basis through raffles and donations.
• Work with MAC to enhance the fund raising efforts at annual golf outing and annual concert.
• Attend a WFP sponsored country tour to help promote the efforts that WFP staff are conducting in Africa, South America, and Asia.
• Actively seek volunteers to assist with WFP activities including volunteers from other organizations or companies.
• Work with MAC to establish protocols for soliciting funds/donations for raffles.
• Seek funds from other organizations and companies.
