Scholarship Committee

Purpose

To encourage water industry related education at all working levels (operations, engineering,
management, etc) through scholarships, contributions, and reduced cost educational purchases.

Action Items/Tasks

• Establish, review, and modify scholarship guidelines and criteria.
• Review and modify the applicant scoring and ranking system.
• Utilize common methods to solicit applicants and gather applications.
• Award board approved scholarships and grants.
• Recruit and/or maintain committee membership.
• Review and update bylaws, policies, and/or procedures that apply to the scholarship
  committee.
