Information Technology Committee

Purpose

To reduce costs associated with the operation of the section through the distribution of information through wider use of electronic media, to facilitate communication among the various committee members, to make water-related news and information more readily available to the section members, and to improve service and utility of American Water Works Association to its members.

Action Items/Tasks

• Support other committees to expand the use of technology.
• Phase out the hard copy of the Breeze.
• Promote the web site.
• Develop technology show-and-tell tours.
